Середземноморський клімат надає винограду стиглості, формуючи насичений ароматичний профіль та багатошаровий смак. Вино вирізняється концентрованим фруктовим характером, м’якою танінною структурою та делікатними пряними нюансами, що додають йому індивідуальності. Смак «старої» Франції Колір: темно-рубіновий з фіолетовими відблисками. Аромат: стиглі червоні фрукти, чорний перець, чорниця та фіалка. Історія бренду Історія Domaine de la Baume почалася у 1882 році, коли Жан Прат придбав маєток у самому серці Лангедоку, Франція. На той час виноградники були повністю спустошені епідемією філоксери та занедбані. Протягом 20 років Жан Прат разом із синами здійснив неймовірне: висадив 100 гектарів виноградників та побудував винокурню. Саме він заснував символічні залізні ворота маєтку з ініціалами «J» та «P», які можна побачити й сьогодні. Новий етап настав у 1990 році, маєток придбала австралійська родина Харді. Вони привнесли у французькі традиції технології «Нового світу». З 2003 року господарство належить компанії Les Grands Chais de France, на сьогодні бренд представлений на 5 континентах. Вініфікація Однією з головних особливостей є збір ягід у нічний час, коли температура найнижча. Це запобігає передчасному окисненню соку та допомагає зберегти свіжість. Виноград з кожної ділянки збирається та ферментується окремо. Для білих та рожевих вин використовується метод холодної стабілізації мусту перед початком ферментації. Червоні вина проходять витримку в бочках із французького та американського дуба. Білі вина витримуються на осаді (sur lie) для набуття глибини та кремової текстури.
